joel harper    Representatives of over 200 countries are meeting in Doha, Qatar this week, to once again try to come up with an agreement that will meaningfully reduce carbon dioxide emissions and slow global warming. Meanwhile, scientists like University of Montana geosciences professor Joel Harper continue to research the effects of that warming. Harper has spent part of the last seven years camped out on the ice sheet of Greenland, studying how that sheet is melting.
