Two healthy black calves were¬† born late last month at Missoula County Public Schools’ Agricultural Center off South Avenue. They’re the result of a successful embryo transfer which is a fairly sophisticated procedure designed to produce – among other things – genetically superior traits in cattle. In tonight’s feature interview with reporter Edward O’Brien, teacher Tom Andres and students Austin Standley and Caitlin Creighton, explain the calves’ significance.
