Conservationist says there’s lots of room for a great and shared vision

HarveyLockeHarvey Locke, a founder of the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative – also known as “Y-2-Y”, says he believes humans are able to put aside our many and varied interests to ultimately do what’s best for the natural world.
The Y-2-Y Initiative is a joint Canada/U-S non-profit working to preserve and restore the natural heritage of the Yellowstone to Yukon region.
In tonight’s feature interview with Edward O’Brien, Locke – who lives in Banff, Alberta – says he’s optimistic about the humanity’s ability to ultimately create and share a science-based conservation plan.  He also explains how his passion for nature began…
