Skier describes the terror of being caught in a Glacier Park avalanche

Justin Steck and his friend Jason Robertson had a great ski on Elk Mountain in Glacier National Park on January 7th. The next day, they went back, expecting another good run. Jason descended first on his snowboard, with Justin following on his skis.Then the mountain started to slide, and Justin was caught in an avalanche that threw him 800 feet down the mountain, burying him up to his neck, breaking his arm and six ribs.
