NRDC senior scientist, Dr. Kim Knowlton, says those “extreme” events shattered records that had held for 30-years or more. The map also includes areas affected by of wildfire, drought and flooding.
Knowlton says the NOAA data shows 2012 was the hottest in the Lower 48 since NOAA started keeping records in the late 1800’s.
In tonight’s feature interview with Edward O’Brien, Knowlton says this tool clearly illustrates what climate change looks like and what it’s costing all of us:

  1. Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just
your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and everything.
Nevertheless imagine if you added some great pictures or videos
to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and videos,
this website could certainly be one of the best in its field.
    Excellent blog!
