USDA Undersecretary Harris Sherman on Fire Recovery Efforts.

This has already been a difficult fire season across the West and the fire potential for what’s forecast to be a hot and dry August, looms large. USDA’s Undersecretary for Natural Resources and Environment, Harris Sherman, says the impacts of catastrophic wildfires don’t end when the men and women who extinguish them, pack up their gear and leave. In tonight’s feature interview with Edward O’Brien, Sherman outlines what’s involved in recovering from major wildfires and what it costs.
