Montana’s gold rush began at Bannack, 150 years ago. Montana’s first territorial capitol boasted 3000 residents at its peak. Today, Bannack’s abandoned buildings are a state park, managed by 4 full-time residents. Park historian Tom Lowe is one of them. In tonight’s feature interview, Lowe talks with News Director Sally Mauk about Bannack’s colorful past…and this weekend’s celebration of “Bannack Days”…
