Montana’s Lieutenant Governor John Bohlinger’s standard neckwear may not have the same fame as Governor Brian Schweitzer’s ever-present bolo tie.

But Bohlinger’s trademark bow tie reflects the unusual position he’s held the last seven years—a Republican serving in a Democratic administration.

Capitol Reporter Dan Boyce speaks with Bohlinger about his tenure as Lieutenant Governor, what he feels still needs to be done, and how he would like to see the position change.
