Sally Mauk talks with gay veteran Alex Nicholson about don’t ask, don’t tell…

Today marks the one year anniversary of the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”. Dire predictions of the impact of repeal have not come to pass; for the military, allowing gay soldiers to serve openly has largely been a non-event. Gay veteran Alex Nicholson was one of the key figures in the fight for repeal and has a new book out about it called “Fighting to Serve.” In tonight’s feature interview, Nicholson talks with News Director Sally Mauk about the struggle to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”…and what he wants to happen next…
